Dozens of residents from all over the county say they have seen mysterious lights moving across the sky in recent weeks.
The revelations come after three soldiers at a north Shropshire army barracks reported seeing 13 unusual craft objects, zig-zagging across the sky on June 7.
Among those who say they have had a UFO encounter is Wanda Williams, from Whitchurch.
She said her 16-year-old daughter Shanell first spotted the object in the sky as she was drawing her curtains before going to bed about three weeks ago.
"My daughter saw it from her bedroom first," she said..
"You've never seen a light so bright in your entire life. It was towards the Shrewsbury and Shawbury area.
"It was definitely something out of the ordinary. It was huge, just like a dome, and was reflecting.
"The light was out of this world. The light was the brightest I have ever seen in my life. It was just unbelievable.
"Seeing is believing and I believe now we have definitely seen something not from this planet.
"We were covered in goosebumps. It was unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable."
Margaret Harrop, from Shifnal, also claims to have seen some strange lights the same day as the soldiers' sighting.
She said she saw two orange lights flying overhead on June 7.
"I called my husband who fetched a pair of binoculars," she said.
"While concentrating on these objects I looked behind us to see a stream of about 12 more of these objects.
"On closer inspection through the binoculars, we both saw what we agreed resembled orange fan-shaped lights in inverted translucent cube-shaped objects.
"They were flying silently an east, south-easterly direction."
