Shropshire firm CJ WildBird Foods is celebrating after picking up a prestigious RHS Certificate of Commendation award for its stand Chelsea Flower Show.
Chairman Chris Whittles said the show was a great opportunity for the team to meet customers, get feedback and introduce new products.
"We had concerns that the current economic climate might affect attendance and sales this year, but we were really pleased with the number of people visiting us at the show."
CJ WildBird Foods, of Upton Magna near Shrewsbury is Europe's largest mail order garden bird and wildlife supplier.
Visitors found an extra treat waiting for them on the CJ WildBird Foods stand as wildlife presenter Mike Dilger, best known for his regular wildlife reports on BBC 1's The One Show, was on hand throughout the day to meet visitors and answer any wildlife questions they had.
Mike added: "I've thoroughly enjoyed my day. It's the first time I've been to the Chelsea Show and I found it fascinating to chat with CJs visitors about such a broad range of back-garden wildlife issues."
Mike writes a monthly column for CJ WildBird Foods which is published on the company's website www.birdfood.co.uk
CJ WildBird Foods will attending the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show in July.
