When the Easom brothers had a bright idea in 1985 to design the world's first 22 inch wheel bike, they perhaps never thought that more than 20 years later their dream would be become a thriving new business.

Less than a year ago the brothers decided to invest their own cash into developing the Faction Bike Company, with a unique product designed to cross the two different worlds of BMX and mountain biking.

Keith Easom, who presented the idea to the panel, said five months ago the brothers began having their bike manufactured in the Far East, are testing the market in a number of UK shops and online, selling a number in the US.
