The guitarist of heavy metal band Judas Priest will host a fundraising day for the Lord's Taverners charity at his golf course in Bridgnorth.
The Lord's Taverners Golf Day 2009 will be launched this afternoon at Ken Downing's home at Astbury Hall, Chelmarsh, near Bridgnorth.
Neal Radford, former England and Worcestershire county cricketer, who is a committee member of The Lord's Taverners in the West Midlands, will be at the launch.
The charity provides sporting opportunities for disadvantaged and disabled young people.
