X Factor star Joseph Whelan teeing off for Shropshire charity golf challenge
X Factor star Joseph Whelan will be swinging into action at a Shropshire golf course to raise funds for Severn Hospice on Sunday.
The singer, who impressed last year's X Factor judges with his voice and song-writing but lost out in the final stages, will be teeing off at Church Stretton Golf Club at 2.30pm.
He will be joining breakfast radio hosts Tom Campbell and Amy Stubbs from Wolverhampton-based station Signal 107.
The charity golf challenge has been organised by bosses of Roden-based Shrosbree Indoor Golf and Performance Centre.
The challenge will include foursomes match play for the first hole and also a pitching and putting challenge. Entry to the charity golf day will be a minimum donation of £2 on the door.
