Mr Pritchard shared a picture of the meeting on Twitter:

The pair met at the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday.

The MP has previously requested a debate in the House of Commons in the hope of establishing Shropshire as an A-list movie location.

Mr Pritchard said: "He was pleased to hear about Shropshire's film offer. He also asked me for some acting tips."

The star's arrival in the House of Commons caused puzzled looks from MPs and staff.

Photos of the Matrix star at Portcullis House started popping up on Twitter, accompanied by a variety of captions:

With the latest rumours suggesting that Keanu's Bill & Ted 3 movie will be largely set in London, it's more likely he's location scouting or seeking out filming permissions.

Reeves began his film career in 1985. He gained fame for his starring role performances in several blockbuster films including comedies from the Bill and Ted franchise, action thrillers Point Break and Speed and the science fiction-action trilogy The Matrix.
