Salopian Justin, 44, who has worked on movie franchises such as Star Wars, James Bond, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean, will attempt to break the world record for the longest distance covered on foot, while on fire.

He is hoping to take on the challenge in front of thousands of people – and officials from the Guinness Book of Records – at one of the county's big shows in the summer of 2017.

Justin, from Lee Brockhurst, revealed a taste of what the challenge will involve by setting himself on fire for a photocall to publicise the stunt at Iscoyd Park, near Whitchurch.

He said: "Being set on fire is all part of the job for a stuntman working in the movies and on television, but this world record attempt involves covering a much longer distance.

"I'm hoping that I'll be able to attempt the world record at one of Shropshire's big shows or events in the summer – it would be great to do it in front of a huge crowd."

It has been a busy few months for Justin, who has graduated from stunt performer to stunt co-ordinator duties on several productions.

He is currently working on the new Jimmy McGovern TV series, Broken, and has recently completed stunt co-ordination duties on a new movie shot in Shropshire, Crucible Of The Vampire, with Neil Morrissey.
