Complete with a patio area and hot tub, the tree house at The Oaks, All Stretton would be let out to holiday makers.

There would be a large living/bedroom, kitchen area and bathroom.

Outside there would be a decked area, where the hot tub and patio area would be housed and there would also be a bike rack. A rope bridge would lead to a car parking area and there would be extensive views of the surrounding woodland.

On their application form, which has been submitted to Shropshire Council's planning committee, Rotunda Roundhouses Limited of Stockport, Cheshire said: "The application is for the erection of a timber framed roundhouse and deck between three existing oak trees for use as a holiday-let "tree house" utilising site access currently serving existing holiday let property, "The Oaks".

"The proposal includes two new parking spaces, one of which can accommodate a disabled driver's vehicle. A change of use is requested to cover the woodland area enclosing the rotunda and deck."

The walls of the tree house would be clad with larch or cedar shingles while composite roof tiles would also be used.

The plans will now be considered by the council's planning officers and a decision reached at a time to be set.
