Shifnal-based letting agent Limecastle is celebrating after scooping a top regional award.

The firm won Letting Agent of the Year in the Midlands for 2010 in the prestigious Landlord & Letting Awards.

Limecastle covers four counties including Shropshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire.

Director Lea Beven, who writes a regular blog for shropshirestar.com, said: "We are totally thrilled to be winners, the competition was tough.

"This is a real testament to all of the hard work my team have put in.

"We pride ourselves in being diverse in our services, opening seven days a week, helping set up professional house shares, offering reduced-price moving services and encouraging pets in lets. I couldn't be more proud."

Trophies were presented by landlord, businessman and TV presenter Craig Phillips at a gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Birmingham NEC.
