A post office branch due to open in a village near Shrew-sbury exactly 18 months ago is still in limbo - because nobody wants to run it.
Wroxeter Post Office was due to open in August 2009 at the Wroxeter Hotel. But Post Office Ltd bosses said it is still no closer to becoming a reality.
The village has had no branch for three years.
Richard Hall, a Post Off-ice spokesman, said: "We have been seeking an experienced subpostmaster to take over the running of the service but our search has so far been unsuccessful. "
