The Royal Mail sorting office in Newport will shut its doors for the final time today and move staff to another branch.

The Royal Mail sorting office in Newport will shut its doors for the final time today and move staff to another branch.

The 28 staff in the High Street office will move to a sorting operation in Oakengates, Telford.

Richard Hall, spokesman for Royal Mail, said customers would not be affected and could now collect mail from the town's Post Office, also in High Street.
