It has not yet been revealed exactly how much cash will be invested in the town, but it is believed work to repair the bridge will cost between £1 million and £2 million alone.

Members of Tenbury Area Partnership have held preliminary talks with county council chiefs and are due to meet again in mid-April.
The news has been welcomed by civic officials in the town.
Alan Eachus, a member of Tenbury and Burford Civic Society and Tenbury Area Partnership, said the scheme was at its early stages.
However, he said was delighted at the progress made after three years of lobbying.
He said: "It is great news for Tenbury.
"The town is in desperate need of a facelift to help its future prosperity."
