Bradeney House Care Home, in Worfield, was visited by the Care Quality Commission.

The home, run by Holy Cross Care Homes Ltd, said some minor CQC findings had been addressed and there was no need for further regulatory action.

Les Jones, of Bradeney Care Home, said: "Holy Cross Care Homes Ltd has made the required improvements identified following a CQC inspection of Bradeney House in September. We are working with the CQC, which concluded that compliance actions were of minor impact and that our residents were not at immediate risk of harm, to ensure that compliance is achieved.

"Compliance actions is not a civil or criminal action."

Following an inspection last November, the CQC highlighted areas where the care home could improve.

The report found the personal care or treatment records of people who used the service was planned but that the delivery could be improved. Inspectors said wheelchairs could be stored more effectively, and there needed to be enough staff to meet people's needs and recommended additional training to help staff look after people suffering with dementia.

Helen Gildersleeves, of the CQC, said the home would have to complete an action plan detailing what changes they needed to make to comply with their report.

She said: "We will carry out a follow up inspection in due course."
