Inquest into Argos lorry driver's death in Oswestry to be heard by jury

An inquest into the death of an Argos delivery driver who died in Oswestry will be held in front of a jury.

William Ernest Barker, 68, from Rochdale, died on May 27, 2014, in an incident outside the town's Argos store.

John Ellery, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Coroner, said he expected the inquest to last two days but a third day would be reserved as a precaution.

The inquest will begin on April 15. It is expected to take place at Shrewsbury Town Football Club although the venue is yet to be confirmed.
