Teenager charged after woman, 95, beaten in her own home
A 17-year-old youth has been charged with burglary following a break-in in which a 95-year-old woman was badly beaten in her own home.

She was repeatedly punched in the head after being dragged from her bed in Little Dawley, Telford. The break-in, at 1am on Friday, took place the day before the woman's 96th birthday.
She was left with a bloody gash on her head and needed hospital treatment.
