Man's jaw broken in Shrewsbury pizza shop attack

Police today launched an appeal for witnesses to an assault in Shrewsbury in which a man's jaw was broken in two places.

The victim was at Al Piccollino's Pizzeria in Castle Gates when the assault took place at around 2.30am on Saturday, February 28.

Police say the attacker was part of a group of four people.

DC William Quan said police are particularly interested in speaking to a woman who entered the shop while the incident took place.

Anyone with information is asked to call DC Quan at West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 0094S 280215.
