Nearly 100 toilet rolls stolen in Craven Arms

About 90 toilet rolls and crockery were among the items taken from the store shed of a village hall.

The lock was prised off the door on the shed next to the village hall at Onibury, near Craven Arms, before goods including paper towels, knives and forks, electric kettles and barbecue burners were removed.

It is believed the theft happened some time between Sunday evening and Bank Holiday Monday.

Meanwhile, a heavy cast-iron water butt, painted white, was stolen from outside a cottage at nearby Stokesay, some time between April 25 and Sunday.

A yellow Arcgen generator and a Honda concrete screed were also stolen from farm premises in Wistanstow between the evening of Bank Holiday Monday and Tuesday morning. On the same evening cash was taken from a safe at Wilderhope Manor youth hostel. Call police on 101.
