Police name Shropshire mother and daughter killed in horror crash near Weston Park
Police have named a mother and daughter from Market Drayton who were tragically killed in a five car crash on the A5 near Weston Park.
Diane McGrail, aged 53 and Kira Elizabeth McGrail, 14, died in the smash in Weston-under-Lizard on Monday afternoon.
The 17-year-old male driver of the car they were passengers in is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
A 46-year-old man from Telford arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on bail.
There six others injured in the crash and the A5 was closed for many hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
An investigation to understand the exact circumstances of what happened is underway and witnesses are asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 396 of July 6.
