We are putting up two new releases this month that are worth a look.

Exclusive first chapters from both books are on our website to give you a taste of the books. And we want you to provide your thoughts on them as part of an online and in-paper forum.

Madeley Academy reviewers with head Lady Maria Satchwell

Children at the Madeley Academy have jumped on board the Book Club. They have broken up for the summer holidays with a copy of Fire Colour One by Jenny Valentine, a novel targeted at teenagers with the promise of page-turning twists.

And staff at the Ketley Cod chippy in Ketley, Telford, have snapped up copies of An Unwilling Accomplice, the latest from the pen of Charles Todd, the New York Times bestselling author. The book also happens to be linked with Shropshire, with the beautiful Iron Bridge featuring prominently on the cover of this latest novel.

Chippy worker Paige Wilson, 20, said: "Book clubs are a good idea as they spread the word about something exciting."

Both groups will be given their views on the books next month, when another two titles will be featured and more exclusive chapters put online.
