Father-of-one Sebastian Miles James Ward, from Wem, died following the accident between Hadnall and Preston Brockhurst on Wednesday last week.

The hearing at Telford Register Office yesterday heard the Ford Ka he was travelling in was in collision with two Vauxhall Movano vans.

A post-mortem revealed Mr Ward, of Chapel Lane, died from multiple injuries as the result of a road traffic collision, the inquest was told.

Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire coroner Mr John Ellery adjourned proceedings until January 12 next year at Shirehall, when it will resume and be completed.

Mr Ward, 32, ran Seb Ward Car Sales on the A49. Floral tributes have been left outside his business.

His funeral will take place from 2pm on Tuesday, September 8 at St Mary's Magdalene Church in Hadnall, with an optional dress code and "Formula One clothing very welcome".

Police are still appealing for witnesses to the crash and anyone with information is urged to call the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 381s of August 26.
