More than a dozen sheep have been stolen from land at Llanfechain near Oswestry.

The 14 Welsh Mule ewes were taken sometime between the middle of July and the middle of August, from land behind Bodynfoel Hall in Llanfechain.

They were all marked with a blue "HE" on their rumps and bore ear tags saying either UK707634 or UK700116.

Anyone knowing the location of the sheep or who has any information about their theft is asked to contact Llanfyllin Police.
