Firefighters tackle van blaze in Ellesmere

Firefighters were this afternoon tackling a van which had become well alight in Ellesmere.

A fire crew was called out at 2.43pm this afternoon to the fire at Canal Way where a fire service spokesman said the van was "well alight".

The scene was cleared by 3.11pm and there were no injuries reported.
