Shrewsbury store evacuated over gas leak
Shoppers were evacuated from a supermarket in Shrewsbury town centre becasue of a gas leak.

Firefighters and engineers were called to Waitrose in Pride Hill at about 1pm yesterday.
A worker said the leak started in a refrigeration unit in the basement and shoppers were asked to leave.
Engineers were called and the store was closed as the leak was fixed. The store reopened shortly after.
