Andrew Carr was seen looking over at sixth form girls from Adams' Grammar School who were sat on a bench as he committed the act from his flat in High Street, Telford Magistrates Court heard.

Mrs Abigail Hall, prosecuting, said a witness who had parked nearby had also seen him appearing to take photos of the girls on a camera or phone.

She said the man had seen a police officer in the street and pointed out what Carr was doing.

She said Carr stepped away from the window after he noticed the police officer. He was arrested and interviewed.

Mrs Hall said another man had previously seen a similar incident when he went to view a flat in the area a month beforehand.

She said the High Street had been very busy when Carr had been seen committing the act.

Carr, 23, admitted two charges of intentionally exposing himself intending that someone would see him and be caused alarm or distress.

The acts took place in September and October last year.

Mrs Hall said Carr told police he had been waiting for his girlfriend to arrive during the incident in October.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Carr is expected to be sentenced at Telford Magistrates Court on February 17 and was given conditional bail until the date of the hearing.
