The meeting, which has been organised by Shrewsbury Business Chamber, will ensure that the people of Shropshire get the opportunity to question a panel of both 'in' and 'out' campaigners from various political, business and other sectors. The event is free for all to attend.

The debate, which will be held at 6pm on May 26 at Shrewsbury College's London Road-based Clayton Hall, will be compèred by Eric Smith of BBC Radio Shropshire.

Members of the chamber, businesses and members of the public will all have a chance to put forward their questions to the panellists, who will be confirmed prior to the event. Attendees at all networking events must complete registration via the Chamber's website www.shrewsburybusiness.com/events. There will be no admission to events without registration.

Shrewsbury Business Chamber has been representing businesses in the Shrewsbury area since 1903.

"Many voters will be very unsure what Brexit could mean for both Shropshire and the UK, right up to polling day," said Kevin Lockwood, deputy chairman of Shrewsbury Business Chamber and manager of Shrewsbury Shopping Centres. "Attendees at our debate will be better equipped to make a fully-informed decision that counts on June 23."
