Storm Katie: British summer time begins... with snow, wind and rain as storms batter Shropshire and Mid Wales
The British summer time has finally arrived this Easter bank holiday weekend - with snow, rain and heavy winds being brought across Shropshire and Mid Wales by Storm Katie.
Gusts of up to 50mph hit Shropshire and Mid Wales overnight as Storm Katie ensuresd a blustery end to a wet and windy Easter weekend.
The River Corve near Clee Hill was fast flowing as water form overnight ran off the hill.
Those travelling back from breaks across the county are advised to be careful on the roads, and if possible delay their journeys until later on Easter Monday afternoon.

Met Office forecaster Marco Petagna said: "There is likely to be a lot of surface spray on the roads, there could be localised flooding, and the winds could cause branches to come off the trees, and one or two tiles off the roof.
"Allow extra time for your journey and if possible try and delay your journey as winds will tend to ease off throughout the day."
The M6 northbound at Juntion 13 and 14 near Stafford was closed during the morning, with the southbound carriageway down to one lane because of flooding on the motorway.
Hoo Farm also had to close its tea rooms due to flooding.
