Shifnal school closed due to gas leak cause by nearby works
A school was closed today because of no heating or catering facilities, after a gas leak was caused by nearby construction works.

Pete Bourton, headteacher of Idsall School in Shifnal, said contractors had cut through the gas mains feeding the school yesterday afternoon.
The school is due re-open as usual tomorrow.
