Children's care home plan for bungalow in Telford
Plans have been submitted to Telford & Wrekin Council that could see a bungalow in Madeley turned into a children's residential home.
Property company, Turnstone Residential, has applied for permission to turn 1 Bennett Road in Madeley into a children's care facility.
If approved, the facility would offer 24/7 care in a "family-like setting" to up to two young people aged between seven and 17 with "emotional and behavioural needs".
The plans show minimal changes would be needed for the property, which would have three bedrooms - one for each child and a manager's room.
The application also suggests that there would be two staff onsite at all times, with a registered manager present from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4pm.
