Telford house of drugs is revealed as man arrested

This was the scene confronting police when they carried out a raid at an address in Telford today.

Drugs paraphernalia was taken from the property in Brookside, along with substances that will be tested.

A man in his early 20s has been arrested following the raid and is helping detectives with their inquiries.

West Mercia Police released a series of images from the operation, part of its ongoing fight against the use and dealing of drugs in the region.

Officers raided the property in Beaconsfield, where the man was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of drugs.

Police also recovered an amount of drugs, believed to be cannabis, along with equipment to process the drug and an amount of money.

The warrant was carried out at 2pm by officers from Brookside Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team.

Officers said inquiries are still ongoing following the execution of the warrant, at a flat in Beaconsfield.

West Mercia Police says it is always keen to hear from neighbours who may have information about suspicious activity.

It also wants to hear from anyone who suspects anyone of being involved in the distribution of illegal substances.
