Body found in grounds of Ellesmere College
A body has been found in the grounds of Ellesmere College, police said today.

The body was discovered yesterday afternoon.
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "It was found in a remote part of the grounds close to a pond and appears to have been there for a considerable time.
"We are in the process of establishing the identity and are treating it as an unexplained death. However, at this stage, we do not believe anyone else is involved."
The spokesman said the body was not thought to be connected to the college.
"We are investigating the possibility that it may be linked to a long-term missing person report," he said.
