The crash on the A49 in Hadnall took place at about 2.10pm at the junction of Painsbrook Lane.

Police were called to the incident along with an ambulance and the road has been blocked in both directions while emergency services work.

Two ambulance crews from West Midlands Ambulance Service are on site and one of the motorcyclists is believed to have chest injuries.

Last month, the A49 trunk road was named the county's most dangerous route, with a third of fatal accidents taking place there over a three-year period.
