Telford & Wrekin Council leader Shaun Davies has hit out at the Future Fit process and says Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has a "moral obligation" to make sure any decisions are in the interest of the whole of Shropshire.

Cllr Davies said legal action against the recommendation by the board of 'Future Fit' to close the Princess Royal Hospital's A&E department and Women & Children's Centre and move them to Shrewsbury, could be prevented.
He made the comments on his vlog ahead of an Extraordinary General Meeting at Telford College of Arts & Technology tomorrow night where he will call on council members to endorse the launch of a judicial review, if necessary.
