Air ambulance called after motorcycle crash near Whitchurch

The air ambulance was called out after a motorcyclist crashed near Whitchurch.

The incident happened on the A41 at the roundabout with Chester Road and Whitchurch Bypass at about 5.30pm on Saturday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service, Midlands Air Ambulance, West Mercia Police and Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service were at the scene.

The extent of any injuries is not yet known.

The fire service sent one appliance from Whitchurch Fire Station and crews administered oxygen first aid to the casualty.
