Car destroyed by fire in Whitchurch

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent one fire engine from the town's station to Black Park Road, at 8.37pm on Friday.

They used a hosereel jet and breathing apparatus to deal with the incident.

A fire service spokesperson said one vehicle was "fully destroyed by fire".

The incident was over by 9.15pm.

West Mercia Police were also in attendance.
