Man dies after suffering a medical episode near Oswestry
Police say a man has died after suffering a medical episode in the village of Pant near Oswestry.
Two air ambulances - one from Welshpool, the other from Shropshire - were dispatched to the Welsh border village on Monday afternoon .
Traffic was held up along the major A483 trunk road and motorists were urged to avoid the area as emergency services battled to save the casualty.
West Mercia Police said that sadly the man had suffered a medical episode.
