Body found in Shrewsbury house
The body of a man has been found at a house in Shrewsbury.
West Midlands Ambulance Service and officers from West Mercia Police were called to a house in Lydham Road, Heath Farm, at around breakfast time.
Concerns had been raised for the man's welfare.
When the emergency services arrived they found the man dead. He is believed to have been in his mid 30s.
At this stage it seems there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
West Mercia Police spokeswoman Laura Maltby said: "Police were called to a property on Lydham Road in Shrewsbury shortly before 9am this morning following concerns for the welfare of a man.
"Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene where the body of a man – believed to be in his mid 30s - was found. The man was pronounced deceased.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
