Fire crews tackle Church Stretton barn blaze
Fire crews have been tackling a fire at a barn containing 200 bales of hay.
The crews from Church Stretton and Craven Arms attended the blaze at the barn on Shrewsbury Road, Church Stretton.
They were sent at around 4.30pm.
The barn was said to be "well alight" when the crews arrived with a light pumping unit and a water carrier.
Two hosereel jets were being used to tackle the blaze, with West Mercia Police also in attendance.
The barn was described as 20 metres by 10 metres, and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the light pumping unit had collected water from a water plant.
