Ironbridge Museums to close early on Sunday in shutdown ahead of National Trust takeover
Ironbridge's museums will be closing early this Sunday as they shut down ahead of a National Trust takeover.

The birthplace of the Industrial Revolution was the Ironbridge Gorge. Here the world’s first iron bridge was constructed between 1777 and 1781 and spans the River Severn. Dotted about the landscape are 10 fascinating museums, including the best known Victorian Town at Blists Hill, and Coalport China Museum.
