Oswestry Town Council named the best in Britain
Oswestry Town Council has been named the best in Britain.

The council won the National Association of Local Council's best council award in a ceremony in Birmingham last night.
Judges cited the council's volunteer-based CCTV system and the monthly health forum meetings it helps organise in giving out the award.
Oswestry mayor Councillor Paul Milner said: " It is a great achievement for our town of Oswestry and Oswestry Town Council."
Earlier this week town clerk David Preston was voted president elect of the Society of Local Council Clerks.
