Traffic heading northwest towards Oswestry moved slowly after the incident near Shrewsbury at about 3.40pm.

Terri-Anne Powell, a spokeswoman for West Mercia Police said: "We were called at 3.37pm after it had been reported that a lorry had overturned near to the Felton Butler roundabout on the A5 from West Felton to Oswestry.

"No injuries were reported and Highways are dealing with the incident.

"There is a man under arrest at the moment.

"I believe there was debris on the road and the lorry was believed to be transporting hay."
