GHA Coaches: Directors' other coach company RJ's of Wem has licence revoked
Two Shropshire bus companies linked to the failed GHA Coaches lost their operating licences due to their finances.
Following a public inquiry in Birmingham on Monday, the traffic commissioner, Nick Jones, ruled RJ's of Wem and RML 2418 Limited were no longer "in good financial standing".
RJ's of Wem Ltd took over the Whitchurch to Wrexham route when the directors of collapsed firm GHA coaches were banned indefinitely from running buses in September.
The directors, Gareth and Arwyn Lloyd Davies, were also directors of RJ's of Wem and a third company RML 2418 Ltd, but they stepped down from the two companies in September.
Following their departures, Sally Lloyd Davies assumed a director's role with both firms.
The licences of RJ's of Wem and RML 2418 Limited will be revoked on December 19.
