Borough of Telford & Wrekin (Various Roads, Newport and Edgmond) (Prohibition of Waiting, Prohibition of Waiting and Loading, on Street Parking Places and on Street Loading Places) Order 2015 Notice is hereby given that the BOROUGH OF TELFORD & WREKIN in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby propose to make the following Order:

1. When this Order comes into effect;

(a) Waiting will be prohibited at all times on the lengths of roads specified in Schedule One.

(b) Permit any vehicle to park, stop or wait between the hours of 8.00am to 10.00am and between the hours of 2.00pm to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday on the sides of the roads specified in Schedule Two.

(c) Permit any vehicle to park, stop or wait at all times, Monday to Saturday in a Parking Place as described in Schedule Three for a period longer than thirty minutes.

(d) Permit any vehicle to park, stop or wait at all times, Monday to Saturday in a Parking Place as described in Schedule Four for a period longer than forty minutes.

(e) Permit any vehicle to park, stop or wait at all times, Monday to Saturday in a Parking Place as described in Schedule Five for a period longer than forty minutes.

(f) Permit any vehicle to park, stop or wait at any time, Monday to Saturday in a Loading Bay Area as described in Schedule Six unless it is for the purpose of

loading and unloading goods from the vehicle to or from premises situated adjacent to the Loading Bay Area.

2. A copy of the draft Order, the relevant plans, a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the order, may be examined during usual office hours at Telford & Wrekin, Addenbrooke House, Ironmasters Way, Telford, TF3 4NT. 3. If you wish to object to the proposed order, you should do so in writing setting out the grounds for your objection and sending it by Wednesday 19th August 2015 to: Traffic Management Centre, Neighbourhood and Leisure Services, Darby House, Telford & Wrekin Council, Lawn Centre, Telford, TF3 4JA or highways@telford.gov.uk.

Wellington Road (East) From a point 10m south west of the centreline of its junction with Brookside Avenue for a distance of 20m in a north easterly direction.

Brookside Avenue (both) From the centreline of its junction with Wellington Road for a distance of 30m in a south easterly direction.

Wellington Road service From the centreline of its junction with Brookside Avenue for a road (both) distance of 10m in a north easterly direction.

Granville Road (North) From a point 49m east of the centreline of its junction with Wellington Road for a distance of 55m in an easterly direction.

Schedule 2

Restriction of Stopping - Monday to Friday - 8am to 10am and 2pm to 4pm

Newport

Beaumaris Road (South) From a point 24m west of the centreline of its junction with

New Street for a distance of 114m in an westerly direction.

Schedule 3

On Street Parking Place - Monday to Saturday - 30 Minutes No Return Within 1 hour Edgmond High Street (East) From a point 54m north east of the centreline of its junction with Robin Lane for a distance of 18m in a north easterly direction.

Schedule 4

On Street Parking Place - Monday to Saturday - 40 Minutes No Return Within 1 hour Newport High Street (West) From a point 78m south of the centreline of its junction with Stafford Street for a distance of 6m in a southerly direction.

Schedule 5

On Street Parking Place - Monday to Friday - 40 Minutes No Return Within 1 hour New Street (East) From a point 80m south of the centreline of its junction with High Street for a distance of 12m in a south westerly direction.
