Cooper Green Pooks in Shrewsbury has been appointed to market the sites in Welshpool Road at Bicton, which total 4.25 acres.

The 2.85 acres of commercial land is reported to be good for a variety of uses, including retail, medical, a showroom, a restaurant, trade counter offices or a hotel. The second plot is earmarked for residential use, and totals 1.4 acres.

Alessio Dyfnallt of Cooper Green Pooks, who is handling the sale of the land, said: "Offers are invited for the site either as a whole or as two individual plots, the residential land being available on a freehold basis and the commercial land available on a virtual freehold (999 ground lease).

"We expect considerable interest in the land and I would advise interested parties to contact us as soon as possible."

The land is on Welshpool Road, close to the Bicton Heath Co-op supermarket.
