Town are hunting for a chairman and deputy following the decision of Nicky Millington to step down and Nick Billington to depart.

Both cite family and business commitments as their reasons, though Millington will continue working behind the scenes at Greenfields.

Town's committee have vowed to take their time in seeking replacements in order to get the right people.

A committee member said: "No-one on the present committee has the time and as it's now the close season, we decided to let it lie for a while so we can explore all avenues."

Town also want to bridge the gap with junior outfit Tigers by launching an under-18s side in the Midlands Floodlit Youth League.

Martyn Davies, who has been formally promoted from caretaker to manager, hailed the floodlit league venture.

He said. "It's great news. I've been advocating something like this for years and I'm absolutely delighted it's finally come on my watch."

"It will be a great opportunity for young players to develop their skills."
