AFC BRIDGNORTH UNDER-18s have more than one reason to celebrate this season – with the team unbeaten and sporting a new sponsored kit.

New sponsor Gary Pitt – who owns GJ Pitt and who has recently become the licensee for the club – has sponsored the side with the business logo emblazoned across the front of the shirt.

The under-18s maintained their unbeaten run in the Stourbridge & District League Division One, powering on with a 9-2 win over Wrens Nest.

Strikes from leading goalscorer Charles Hague Jones (two), Scott Rawlings (two), Luke Rowlinson (two), Charlie Fellows, Jordan Smallman and Ollie Mathews maintained their super start to the season.

Club spokesman Ken Hodgson said: "The under-18s are still top of the league and continue to improve game by game and their win should have been more with the opposition goalkeeper man of the match.

"Exciting times ahead for the club especially the style of football the young lads are playing."
