Manager Andy Sinton has also been working hard to add quality to his squad but has so far drawn a blank in his efforts.
Chairman Lee Carter confirmed: "Everything has stalled in terms of players coming in.
"One or two things haven't worked out and I doubt whether they will be re-ignited now.
"James Reid has gone out on loan, that has been sorted out and he will go for a month at first, and there might be one or two others that could go out.
"The Conference deadline for signings is not until Saturday so that's a little bit more flexible than the Football League (whose deadline is today)," added Carter. "But even that doesn't affect us if we are loaning players to teams below the Conference, and the manager is still working hard."
Meanwhile, Telford's trip to Bath City a week on Saturday will go ahead as scheduled after the Blue Square Bet Premier's bottom team bowed out of the FA Cup last night.
Victory for Bath in their first round replay with Dagenham & Redbridge would have seen them in second round action instead, but they were beaten 3-1 after extra-time.
