AFC Telford United: Liam Watson is still looking for players
AFC Telford United manager Liam Watson today insisted he's not finished making signings with the new season three weeks away from starting.
The Bucks boss says he's targeting at least one fresh face before the Skrill Conference Premier kicks off on Saturday August 9.
Watson is still looking to borrow a couple of players from Football League clubs, but there is cash in the kitty for a late permanent capture, too.
He said: "That might not be until a bit later on, as two are going to be loans anyway. I am trying to get my own core of players to where they should be first.
"You never really know what will come along over the next few weeks, we are always looking for players.
"If something turns up and I think they will do well for us, I will look at it. I have got scope to make one more permanent signing."
Watson took his players to his former club Witton Albion for their third pre-season friendly today.
