AFC Telford on the look out for more loanees
AFC Telford United will be looking to sign one or two more players on loan as they strive to improve on their poor start to the new season.
The Bucks have bolstered their options by bringing in 25-year-old midfielder Josh O'Keefe from Kidderminster Harriers on a one-month temporary deal.
The Vanarama Conference Premier club play host to recently-promoted Dover Athletic on Saturday, as Liam Watson's men go in search of their first victory of the campaign.
And assistant Dominic Morley said: "We're confident, but we're always on the lookout for new players and we're still looking to bring in one or two more on loan.
"We've already bought in Josh, who's a really good player with a lot of experience at this level.
"We're not a million miles away and we're always looking to improve all over the pitch, so we do still need to add a little bit extra."
Telford slumped to their fourth defeat in six matches, after Dartford scored two goals in 12 second-half minutes to win 2-1 at Princes Park last weekend.
The Bucks, who were promoted to the Conference last season, face a Dover team who are looking for some form themselves having suffered four defeats already this season.
Morley said: "It's an important game on Saturday – and it makes it even more important as we're still after our first win.
"We're only playing well for 20 minute spells in games so far so we need to start playing for longer periods in the game.
"We didn't turn up in the second-half against Dartford after dominating the first, but I think a draw would have been a fair result overall.
"I'll be talking with Liam this week and we'll discuss how we approach the game, but we have to look to take the game to them."
New signing O'Keefe is expected to go straight into the squad, with Godfrey Poku suspended for another three games.
