Abu Ogogo among Shrewsbury Town fans' presentation award winners
Supporters packed into Shrewsbury Town's Greenhous Meadow Sovereign Lounge as awards were handed out with Abu Ogogo, Mat Sadler and Junior Brown big winners.
The fans' presentation evening was attended by boss Paul Hurst, assistant Chris Doig and the Shrewsbury first-team squad.
Chief executive Brian Caldwell and Hurst spoke with supporters ahead of tomorrow's crunch League One game with Southend - where Town have the chance to secure their status.
The evening's big award, the supporters' player of the season, was given to popular midfielder Ogogo.
Having recently signed a one-year extension to his deal, Ogogo has made 30 appearances this term despite a recent two-month injury lay-off and has regularly been made captain under Hurst.
Runner-up was revitalised defender Sadler. Despite an uneventful start to the campaign under previous boss Micky Mellon, Sadler has become an influential member of Hurst's squad in the heart of defence and has also been a regular skipper.
It wasn't Sadler's only runner-up award, he also took the supporters' away player second place, behind left-back Brown.
Brown has been a consistent figure down the left flank for Town under both Mellon and Hurst, and has made the most appearances for the club this season with 49.
Elsewhere there were awards for Louis Dodds, whose 10-goal haul saw him take home the Ralph Clayton award for top goalscorer.
Academy graduate forward Kaiman Anderson, who has been on loan at Halesowen Town and now Oxford City, won the supporters' young player of the year.
The official supporters club chairman's fan of the year went to two winners, Karen and Roger Barnett.
