Wolves facing Wayne Hennessey loan deal dilemma
Kenny Jackett today hinted Wolves could allow keeper Wayne Hennessey to leave Molineux again in the January transfer window.
The Wales international has been an unused substitute for the last two games since returning from his three-month loan at Championship side Yeovil.
Hennessey's return allowed third-choice Aaron McCarey to gain some experience on loan at League Two York City.
First-choice keeper Carl Ikeme has been in excellent form this season so Hennessey has been forced to be patient and wait for his chance.
But with McCarey due back in the new year, Jackett could let Hennessey out again to get some more games under his belt.
Hennessey is also on a sizeable contract, having signed an improved five-year deal in June 2010 when Wolves were in the Premier League and the club could save money by loaning him out again.
"He's in the squad at present," said Jackett. "We don't know whether things will open up in January for him in terms of whether we'll get bids – we'll see.
"At present it's not something I'm concerned with."
